Cleansed like a New Snow

Those who could make it through the snow
gathered for First Reconciliation today.

Although the power was out, Fr. Vogel spoke in his homily about how the brightness of the snow can reflect light through the stained glass windows even when the sun isn't out. As Christians we are to reflect that light of Christ, but when we sin "the glass gets dull and dark."

After the communal service, everyone lined up for Reconciliation.

After Absolution families finished the rite by
praying with Deacon Thome in the chapel.

Congratulations to everyone who made
their First Reconciliation this morning!
