It's not pink

On Tuesday those preparing for their First Communion gathered in the church as Fr. Damian went through the Mass with them. All of the students were also given a "Fr. Damian Paper Doll" and were invited to prepare it each week for the proper liturgical color.

The Fourth Sunday of Lent's designation as "Laetare Sunday" comes from today's entrance antiphon in the Sacramentary, which begins with "Rejoice (laetare in Latin), Jerusalem!" In celebration, the liturgical color this week is Rose.

So if you have your Fr. Damian Paper Doll, he should be dressed in Rose this weekend.

  1. I love it when the priests wear pink!!!

they may say that its not pink but in truth it really is, they are just still in denial so as long as we keep telling them that them maybee they will really, truly , understand that they are pink
