Fire Safety Month

October is Fire Safety Month.  Last week, Chief Dan Olsen from the Omaha Fire Department visited our preschoolers to talk about fire safety.

We talked about “Stop, drop and roll.”

 We talked about staying low in a fire, getting

 out of our house and staying outside.

 Chief Dan showed us what he

looks like in his fire fighter gear.

He also talked a little about his other job:  Police Office Olsen.  Mrs. Bober even tried on his handcuffs!

But, Chief Olsen’s  most important title is Dad.  Thanks Sully, for inviting your dad to visit the preschool!
