Adding Some Tile

In the back of the church we have statues of Mary with the infant Jesus as well as the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Below them are areas for candles.

Over the years, the carpet beside the candle altar has sufferred a number of small burns. At the suggestion of some parishioners, we're making a small modification to the plans and putting tile around these candle altars.

So our architect and builder have been thinking though ideas to figure out the best way to do this.

  1. Why aren't some of those men wearing hard hats? Safety!
Good idea about the tile, by the way. I have put out one fire at the shrine myself over the years.

  2. That's the architect without a hardhat -- the construction workers are very good about wearing them. Thanks for putting out the fire!

  3. Don't really understand the need for hard hats, it's not like they are working above yet are they? I mean, safety first of course, but I don't wear a hard hat when tiling my bathroom...
