Yesterday there was a States Party.
The first grade class has received postcards from all 50 states.
They are studying states and capitals.
Yesterday everyone got to wear clothes from a state.
Then each class got one point for every state represented.
And another point if the student knew the capital.
Mrs. Loeffler's class had over 100 points.
Then both classes watched a video about the states.
There was a lot of food, some with state themes.
It was a lot of fun.
