What to do with the pews?

The company who made the pews will be working
on the ones damaged from water leaks.

The remainder of the pews need to be lightly sanded with steel wool and a coat of wood finisher applied. The company will train us on how to do the wood finishing. If you are willing to help, please give the parish office a call or talk to Bill Heese. With a number of people working on the project, it should not take long to complete.
Fr. Damian would like your opinion on what we should do about the kneelers and book racks. If we move the book racks to the back of the pew rather than under the seat, then we can move the kneelers back an inch to make them more comfortable for kneeling.

Would you like the kneelers moved back an inch?
Would you like the book racks on the back of the pews?
Would you like us to leave the kneelers and racks as they are now?

14 Stained Glass Windows

Sometime in the next month, the last fourteen stained glass windows will be put in the clerestory of the church as part of our remodel. Those windows have been designed. Those images are currently on display on the back bulletin board of the church.

Seven of the images (those going to the north of the current windows) depict images from the Life of Christ. The seven windows to the south of the current images remind us of what it means to be a Disciple of Christ.

For more information on the windows, click here.

Bathroom Renovation

The bathrooms on the main floor of the church are being renovated.
It means these restrooms will be out of commission for a few weeks. In the meantime people will have to use the restrooms in the Social Level. But when it's done they will be better than ever. The thing that will be the hardest to get used to is that the women's restroom will become the men's and vice-versa.

We're looking forward to watching the progress.
