Finishing Touches on the Construction
Above and below you can see the difference of putting tile on the floor by the elevator in the Social Level of the church.
You also may have noticed that the railings by the southeast entrance have received its first coat of paint.

Work continues on our elevator.

Elevator Movement
Over the last month, a lot of work
has been done for our elevator.
First, we had to take out part of a wall.
Then we needed to dig down ...
... before we could start to build up.
After Easter Sunday we should be cutting through the floor.

Cutting up Walls and Floors
The picture above was taken in the storage room of the Social Level of the church.
First part of the wall needed to come out of the way, then ...
... flooring needed to be cut out. There will be a hole 5'2" deep to hold the hydraulics for our elevator.

Tearing Down a Wall
There was a lot of activity in the storage room yesterday.
To make more room, one of
the walls was taken out.
Then the smashed bricks were hauled away.
Because the elevator will take away some of the room to store tables and chairs, it was important to first expand what we have,

Working on a Snow Day
Some may have had today as a snow day, but work continued on the baptismal font ...

So for some, it was a very busy day.
