Keeping the Oath

The Scout Oath calls scouts “.. to help other people at all times” and Jesus repeatedly calls us to help the unfortunate.  Pack/Troop 359 put this into action recently as they gathered 1,354 items in their food drive during the rain last weekend.

Well Done!

Pinewood Derby

At the Pinewood Derby Saturday the contestants were introduced like rock stars.

Then the cars were lined up for race after race.

You could see the excitement on their faces.

The event was full of winners.

Volcanic

Some of the Scouts did a project on volcanoes. Because they were also studying volcanoes in their 4th grade science class, they brought their volcano in to show an eruption.

They were delighted to answer questions from their classmates at the end.

Scouts Locked In

Tonight the Cub Scouts are having their Blue - Gold Banquet. It seems like a good time to show some pictures from their lock-in last month.

The Fall Family Campout

Another Eagle

Sunday night was the Court of Honor as
William Pryor became an Eagle Scout.

As William took the oath, every Eagle Scout took the oath with him.

William has worked hard on this process for years.

It was a blessing that Eagle Scout Fr. Norman
was able to particapate in the ceremony.

Congratulations William!
