Principal for the Day

We had a new principal today at
St. Columbkille Catholic School.

He led our school in prayer, the pledge of allegiance
and our school mission to start the day right.

Realizing what a big responsibility he had,
he called and appointed a Vice-Principal.

Together they headed to the
classrooms to do observations.

They shared their observations to give timely feedback.

They had lunch with the School
 Advisory Council for the day.

In the upper grades of St. Columbkille Catholic School, students have long had to carry Discipline Cards with them at all times. The Principal decided that the teachers all ought to have Discipline Cards with them.

If they forgot to carry their cards,
he wasn't afraid to mark them.

As members of Fr. Damian's staff, they also got a tour of the new parish office during construction. In the picture above they check out the view from Fr. Vogel's future office.

They also got to let a student know that her picture will be on the parish bulletin this weekend.

They did a great job!

They are very thankful that the "Principal for the Day"
 was offered at Columb's Ceili.
