Catholic Schools Week

Archbishop Lucas wants to thank everyone for the blessings of Catholic Schools this Catholic Schools Week.

Monday, January 27: Catholic Schools Rule!
Wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt supporting your favorite Catholic College or University, Catholic High School, or St. Columbkille!

  • Family Mass for Grades 3, 4, and 5
  • Door-Decorating “contest”
  • Pep Rally
  • Prayers for Catholic Schools
  • Pizza Night 


Tuesday, January 28: Future Catholics of America:
What do you want to be when you grow up? Dress as you would for the job you hope to have when
you are older.

  • Family Mass for Grades 6, 7, and 8.
  • Bible Bowl
  • Prayers for Catholic Schools


Wednesday, January 29: We are Super-Talented!
Wear your St. Columbkille Superhero t-shirt with jeans, and get ready to cheer on your
Super-Talented classmates!

  • Family Mass for Grades K, 1, and 2
  • Talent Show
  • Prayers for Catholic Schools


Thursday, January 30: Can you spell P-A-N-C-A-K-E-S?!
Wear your uniform!

  • All School Mass
  • 8th Grade Mass at St. Cecilia’s Cathedral
  • Pancake Breakfast
  • Spelling Bee
  • Prayers for Catholic Schools


Friday, January 31: Come on Let’s Hear It! Show Your St. Columbkille Spirit!
It’s a Spirit Day! Wear your favorite St. Columbkille shirt with jeans!

  • Teachers vs. 8th Graders volleyball game
  • Read and Feed!!!
