In the PAL tournament the championship game for fourth grade boys was played between two St. Columbkille teams and that game went into overtime. Tonight those same teams battled in the championship game of the CYO tournament as well.
It was a tight game.
Everyone was watching intently.
With 9.6 seconds left the blue team was clinging to a 2 point lead ...
... but the white team had the ball.
This was the shot that tied the game
as we headed to overtime again.
This time the white team jumped ahead. leading by one point, the blue team had a chance with one on one free throws. With seconds left, he hit the first shot. Then...
We couldn't be prouder of both teams in this
battle of our fourth grade boys.
