30 Years Ago Today

30 years ago today was a Sunday. Here's a peek at what was in the bulletin on August 23, 1981:

The pastor was Fr. Robert Steinhausen, Fr. Patrick Henry was the Assistant Pastor and Fr. Robert Krajicek was in residence. The priests had nine Masses each weekend including one at St. Joseph's in Springfield (our Mission Parish) and one at a school in La Vista.

School starts at 8:15 tomorrow, August 24th and will dismiss at 12:00 noon. Uniforms will be worn the first day. There is a Welcome Back Skating Party Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Skateland 84th & F Streets. All Parishioners are invited. This is a good chance to get acquainted with our new families.

Thank you to all who helped beautify our school with their time, labor and contributions. Please feel free to come in and visit our newly painted and remodeled school. Thank you to Margo Neuzil for donating two couches for the teacher's lounge.
