Mission Coop next weekend

Father John Hurley, O.S.F.S. will be visiting next weekend and will speak at all the Masses. Father is a native of Wilmington, Delaware, and is a missionary priest serving St. Anne Mission in Calvinia, South Africa. He will speak on behalf of the Orphanage there.

The charism of Oblates of St. Francis deSales is to spread the spirituality of St.Francis de Sales. This spirituality is optimistic in that it teaches that we are to achieve holiness in our state in life (teacher, housewife, students, plumbers, lawyer, etc.) We do this by living in the present moment uniting our will to God’s Will. We do the ordinary, extraordinarily well. The Oblates of St. Francis deSales spread this charism all over the world including mission territories in South America, South Africa, India, Mexico, US Virgin islands, Haiti and the Phillippines.
