Jesus said to his disciples: "Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father." Matthew 6:1
With a smile on his face, Bruce Tangeman has been actively involved in the parish well before he joined the staff in 1999. Since then he has quietly been a key part of supporting eveything we have done. Today is his last day.
Thank you for your many years of service to the parish. You always took the time to get to know the families who came into your office, and that will be missed. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Tangeman, From 3rd grade baseball on up, you've always been supportive. Some of my best memories are of my baseball teammates and coaches at St. Columbkille. I appreciate all you have done for our parish.
Bruce: This morning I was recalling your good advice on balancing work & family. Also thinking of all the times I would come to you with a concern then watch you smile and say, "It will all work out." And it always did. Thanks!
Bruce, Thank you for all you have done for St. Columbkille over the many years. We wish you much happiness and success with your future endeavors. God Bless
My sincerest thanks for your many years of dedicated service to St. Columbkille Parish. My wife, Kathy and I, have been privileged to know you and your wonderful family for many years. You have served well as a servant minister to our parish. My God continue to bless you.
Bruce, It has been my pleasure to work with you on the Parish Festival and in sports. Thank you for all you have done for this Parish, and for the example you've set as a disciple.
It has been my pleasure to know and work with you all these years. You truly are a blessing to not only the Parish but to your family. May God Bless you and guide you along the way.
Bruce, It has been a pleasure working with you over the past several years. You have such a positive spin on everything you were involved in with the parish. Jerry and I will keep you, Karen and your family in our prayers as you go through this transition. The thing that I regret it that you never came over to the bright side in support of the St. Louis Cardinals or Missouri Tigers - I'll get over it! See you at Legion games this summer. Blessings always, Chris O.
Bruce, I just want to tell you that is has been a pleasure working with you during the past couple of years. Your caring support over the past several months has meant the world to me and I'm still wondering who I'm going to call with my silly computer issues. I'm sure that whatever comes your way, you will greet it with the same passion and love that you provided to all of us at St. C. You will be missed (already are). May God Bless you in whatever He places before you!
