Christmas Program

A huge crowd gathered for the First & Second grade

 Christmas Program last night at Papillion South.

Teacher of the Week

Mrs. Gill's 2nd grade class was interrupted

 this morning by some surprise visitors.

Mrs. Gill was chosen as the Star 104.5 Teacher of the Week!

She got a lot of gifts, including spooky cupcakes for Gigi's.

 Mrs. Eidem nominated Mrs. Gill for the award.

Mrs. Gill had to quickly pull Mrs. Pinkleman into the room saying that they work as a team. She said Mrs. Pinkleman makes her a better teacher.

Forgiven

Yesterday and last Saturday second grade students came to church for First Reconciliation.

After a parent introduced their child to one of the priests, they made their confession first. Then parents and other members of their family went to Reconciliation as well.

Each confession ended with a penance and absolution.

It was a great milestone in our faith journey.

Reading at Thanksgiving

Yesterday, before school break, the second graders at St. Columbkille Catholic School did some public readings with a Thanksgiving theme.

Afterwards there was a chance to enjoy treats and

 hang out before our six day Thanksgiving break.

Praying for Our Mothers

On Thursday the First and Second Grade students gathered by the Mary statue to pray a rosary for their mothers. Among the intentions were that their mothers be appreciated for their work and love.
