Open House

The Open House at St. Columbkille Catholic School began as Fr. Dave led a prayer service for our community.

There students, parents and faculty pledged
to do their best and were blessed.

Then they were off to the school
 to find their classrooms.

Chrome books were on hand for every 6th, 7th and 8th grade student to use, after a short tutorial for parents and students by their teacher.

Youthful members of the Home and School Association
distributed ice cream bars for the whole family.

Some students can't wait to get back!

Prayer Service & Open House

Yesterday our school families gathered for a prayer service and open house.

Then families headed to the school ...

 ... bringing their supplies.

Students found their rooms, discovered their teachers and learned who else is in their classroom.

In a few classes, they
began their homework.

There was even ice cream.

By the end of the night, there
were a lot of supplies left behind.

Fashions have changed over 95 years

We're not sure when this picture was taken, but evidently
there was once another uniform option for pants.

If you want to see the the changes at school since
we were so proud of this new technology:
come to the Open House at the
school today from 1:00 to 3:00.

Open House

Last night and tonight are the two evenings of
Open House at St. Columbkille Catholic School.

It began in the church with a prayer service. There students,
parents and teachers discussed what is expected
of them as they work with one another.

Then it was time to find classrooms and meet teachers.

There was also the chance to sign up for things.

It was also a good time to catch up with friends.

School starts Thursday.
