2013 Advent Family Festival
Monday & last night we celebrated an Advent Family Festival.
It began with a Prayer Service.
It included St. Nicholas and a skit about
St. Juan Diego and Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Then families came to the Social Level where materials
were available to help families celebrate Advent.
There were also some enthusiastic 4th graders selling
baked goods to raise funds for families in need.

Monday and Wednesday last night the Advent Family Festival was in full swing.
It began as parents and children gathered to pray together as we long for Jesus in Advent.
Then, there were a number of resources offerred to families so they can continue to pray in Advent and anticipate Christmas.

During our Advent Family Festival, students
learned to say the Hail Mary in Sign Language.
Meanwhile Third Order Carmelite Tony Salamone spoke to parents about Advent. He spoke about key words to ponder in Advent and how to keep Advent alive in the home.
