Walk-A-Thon
The Home School Association chose to create a Walk-A-Thon as their fall fundraiser. On Monday, November 10th, Principal Makey and Assistant Principal Redburn led the walk.
All together, the students walked 3.5 miles and prayed the Joyful mysteries of the Rosary 7 times. They offerred prayers for all St. Columbkille families, everyone who received a Walk-A-Thon letter, donors, the sick, and those in purgatory.
Mangelsen's donated popcorn and Hy-Vee donated water as snacks after the walk.
It was a great event as students grew in body, mind and spirit as disciples of Christ, and raised over $40,000 to "Power Up with Technology"
