First Teachers

 In the Baptismal Rite it says:

"You have asked to have your child baptized. In doing so you are accepting the responsibility of training them in the practice of the faith. It will be your duty to bring them up to keep God's commandments as Christ taught us, by loving God and our neighbor. Do you clearly understand what you are undertaking?"

After the parents say, "We do," the Rite continues.

On Monday and Wednesday night our Religious Formation Office fulfill their yes as they lead their children in preparing for their First Reconciliation.

May they be the best of teachers!

Curriculum Nights

Over the last week, St. Columbkille Catholic School has held a number of "Curriculum Nights" to allow parents to hear directly from the teachers and have an understanding of expectations for the students and the school year.

 It's also a chance to simply get to know one another better.

Costume Party at Preschool

This week, Sacred Heart Preschool students

 had a classroom party with costumes!

We read stories, made crafts and

 had a chance to trick or treat.

Our parents and grandparents

 planned fun things to do.

We are thankful to them for all they do...

...they put smiles on our faces!
