School Work

The day at St. Columbkille Catholic School began, as always, with prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and  the school mission statement. Then they went to work.

3 Rules and some new folks

At an All-School assembly this morning, Mr Makey spoke to the students and explained his three rules to have a good year:

1. Be Respectful;
2. Be Honest; and
3. Try your best.

He said if you do those things, you will have a good year.

Then he had the students raise their hand if they are new, introduced two new teachers, some new aides, and someone else who is new:

Today was the first day of the new year

 at St. Columbkille Catholic School.

Then, as usual, once the kids got to their rooms and settled, some of our aides said their daily prayers for the students and school.
