Fire Station Field Trip

 Recently students from Sacred Heart Preschool took a

 field trip. They walked to the Papillion Fire Station.

They got a very good view of the truck: inside and out.

Visiting the Fire Station was a lot of fun!

A Firetruck Visits

The Papillion Fire Department was kind enough to bring a Firetruck and an ambulance to school. Our Kindergarten, first and second grade students had a chance to learn all about them.

The firetruck has a lot of compartments with

 everything they might need to fight a fire.

It was fun to get to look inside the truck.

Thank you to everyone at the Papillion Fire Station for keeping us safe, for visiting and for teaching us about Fire Safety.

Papillion Fire Station

Last week, our MWF preschoolers went on

a field trip to the Papillion Fire Station.

We learned a lot about fire safety.

We even had a chance to sit in a fire truck.

Thank you fire fighters for helping to keep us safe!

Fire Safety Month

 Our MWF Preschoolers took an October

 walk to the Papillion Fire Station.

 Firefighter Justin showed us the fire truck and ambulance.

At the end of our field trip, Ethan asked if we could say a Hail Mary so that the firefighters would be safe.

Today's fire drill at school was supervised by the

Papillion Fire Department and went very well.

It took 1:24 to clear the building.

Well done.

Firetruck Visit

Today some Firemen brought their Firetrucks to the school for a visit. It was a chance to learn some fire safety like making certain you have a fire detector that works and what to do if there is a fire. They got to look around the tuck and the ambulance to see everything they carry.

They also got a chance to chat with the firemen and ask questions.
