Advent Service & The Nativity Story

The 8th Grade students at St. Columbkille Catholic School are expected to take a leadership role among all of the schools. One of the ways they do that is in teaching and telling the stories of our faith.

Yesterday, they led some songs and prayers, then ... 

 ... they told the story of the birth of Jesus.

A decree was made that a census would be done.

 When Jeuss and Mary went to Bethlehem, there was no room at inn...

 .. after inn.

But they found room in a stable.

 Shepherds were given a message by an angel ...

 ... and went to see the newborn king.

Wise men also recognized this special event. They travekld from far away to bring their gifts.
