Dancing in the Parking Lot

Our parish line dancers needed to be relocated today.  The social hall is so heavily used that they needed to do their line dancing in the parking lot on this beautiful day. Fr. Dave was pleased that their dancing was today and not the day that we had the torrential rains.
This group and all of our senior exercise groups are very flexible -- perhaps it's because they do so much exercising! The displacement of our seniors might be one more reason that we need to expand our facilities.

Preschool Field Trip

This year, our preschoolers took field trips to The Rose theater.  Children each had a special someone come along to watch a performance of Stellaluna and Other Tales.  We learned some important things about being a good friend and being happy just the way we are.  In preschool, we have learned that God tells us these things too.  He has made us unique and wonderful, and wants us to treat everyone with kindness!  Thank you to our parents and grandparents for coming along with us.  We had a wonderful time!

First Communion

This weekend was a special celebration for almost 140 St. Columbkille students who received their First Holy Communion. Masses were held at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 30th. The weather may have been a bit dreary and cold, but families were delighted to witness their child(ren) receiving the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time.

Congratulations and God's Blessings to all of our communicants!
